I love a good cookie any day, (or a buttery chocolate croissant), but when I’m bringing dessert to a dinner party, I often find myself making a flourless chocolate cake.
Rich desserts are an indulgent treat I think. My mother always says to make a cheesecake for parties because people just love it and I think there is definitely something to it.
Although I tend to shy away from a lot of chocolate-specific recipes because my tastes lean in more savory or custardy-directions, dense chocolate is always a crowd pleaser which means I like to go flour-less.
This recipe is from Sur La Table’s “The Art and Soul of Baking” and is incredible. Try it for a dinner party soon; I’m sure it will be a hit!
