#34weekspregnant - slow moving and so ready for this to be over! Rotating like five pieces of clothing that still fit me and have to phone a friend when it’s time to put my socks and shoes on. Prescription antacid made a HUGE difference but as the babies continue to grow, it is actually painful when they move, like double over and yelp, “ahhhh.” With every passing day, a scheduled c-section sounds downright delightful. The work of finishing out this pregnancy is draining all my energy! But, in more fun news, we think we might have names. Maybe. Don’t quote me.

Lots of sledding happening this winter.

My on-going protein plight. Once the babies started to measure ahead, I scaled back my efforts a bit (in the last few weeks) but I think setting a goal of 150g/day really helped light a fire under my butt to figure out how to consume far more protein than I would have otherwise. I think 100-120g is recommended during pregnancy so it is bumped up when you’re carrying twins. All I know is, postpartum, I’m really excited to not have to track any of this anymore! I really feel for the super-health conscious out there who meal plan for bulking up because it takes a lot of the fun out of mealtimes to have to be so strategic!

Just saying “hey” to Mary! Anything to get out of the house since church services are definitely out of the question. It never fails to amaze me how quiet and contemplative they get whenever they’re at this little worship grotto.
