One of our greatest apartment challenges is our kitchen. Not only do we not have any upper or lower cabinetry whatsoever, we have just one useable counterspace thanks to a marble-top kitchen cart we purchased when we moved in. Seating is non-existent due to the unfortunate layout (and the fact that we use our small kitchen table for additional storage and counter space), but we’ve managed to survive make it work and I’ve since fallen completely in love with kitchen pantries, but that’s for another post. Since friends and family inevitably gravitate to the kitchen when we entertain, I’ve kept an eye out for some cute, inexpensive seating. I think this set of bright yellow Carlisle Metal Bar Stool from Target (on sale for $79) might be a fun, short-term solution to our seating problem.
