You know, with everything going on in our country right now, I’ve found myself spiraling into this very discouraged and frustrated state. I already have my hands full with my family and a business. I LOVE both! Where am I going to slide activism into my day? Already, so little is stacked in favor of women who choose to be mothers, it’s no wonder the system is rotten through. The women who should be running things are tied up juggling EVERYTHING else. I’m already worried about my daughters’ basic rights, now clean air… the environment. Everyone’s health and wellness. Do we need to move abroad? How will I build another business all over again? See what I mean? Spiraling. But then I looked at my kids, and my boys specifically, and felt such a rush of gratitude. To be able to raise the kind of men and women the world needs is such a gift and it’s what I’m choosing to focus on right now. 🌍 💕
I could just EAT him, he is so delicious. Should he be holding windex wipes? Yeah, probably not. Is he my fourth child? 100% No worries over here. He’s fine.
Been a very busy June, to say the least! Celebrated SO much but the highlights include: Caroline’s 5th Toy Story themed birthday, Father’s Day, the last day of school (officially; C has been out for a month already), our 10th wedding anniversary, and our niece and nephew’s 2nd and 5th birthdays, respectively. Pheww.
There is an excellent community network thread over on Reddit under “AuntieNetwork.” People are sharing very useful pro-abortion information, like the fact that clinics in the Netherlands will help women. But there are also threads offering spare bedrooms in abortion-providing states like Virginia, which is a border to many states with trigger laws.
